The Hacienda Las Trincheras is located in a valley near La Cuyagua in northern Venezuela. The valley stretches from the Henri Pitter National Park to the Caribbean Sea.
The cocoa beans are roasted at very low temperatures to preserve all their natural flavors.
In this chocolate you taste some fruitiness and some acidity and you also find some floral notes. It is a slightly more complex chocolate that melts nicely and has a nice balance between bitter and sweet.
