Portuguese colonists brought this Amolenado cocoa from Amazonia to the islands of São Tomé and Principe in the 1850’s. Since then, it developed its peculiar, instantly recognisable hints of aroma, derived from the unique soil and climate of the island. A few farmer families from Roca de Santo Antonio in the Abade Valley jointly built a new fermenting, drying and education facility dedicated to high quality cocoa in São Tomé. Trough careful roasting and further processing, Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé created a chocolate that is rich in aromas of walnut, raisins, banana and figs.

Ingredients: cocoa beans, organic cane sugar, organic cocoa butter.
