Hand crafted from 72% single origin organic Dominican Cacao, this chocolate is produced from some of the oldest and finest criollo cacao strains on Cacao Prieto’s cacao farm. The genetics of which date back to those brought to the island by Christopher Columbus! Small batch roasted, this chocolate contains tasting notes of deep berry and burgundy with an earthiness which showcases the beautiful terroir of this chocolate.

To obtain this hot chocolate, cloves, cinnamon en nutmeg were added to the chocolate. Enjoy!

Preparation: Heat 250 ml of milk on a stove. Add 2 heaped tablespoons of chocolate flakes to the hot milk and whisk together before pouring.
